Many little girls, like my daughter, love the line of Disney Princess merchandise. I can relate to that fondness, as I grew up in the age of Jasmine, Belle, and Ariel. However, unlike that era, little girls today can find costumes featuring their favorite princess online that they can enjoy for playing pretend, birthdays, or even Halloween.

When I was young, my grandma crafted me a Little Mermaid costume out of a sheet, a worn out party dress, and some lace. I’ll quite relieved that I can simply go pick up a toddler Ariel costume for my daughter rather than spending a lot of time at a sewing machine. I also got a kick out of the fact that there are now Ariel costumes for grown women as well – my daughter and I could dress alike for Halloween. What will they think of next?!
